Occurred on 9/25/11, 1:43 p.m.  Driving While Intoxicated   Holly & Weber Road     1109250074

Officers responded to reports of drunk driver being followed by the complainant who reported the driver of a white 2001 Chevrolet Tracker was swerving from lane to lane and appeared to be intoxicated.  Further updated information advised Officers the driver had several unrestrained children in the vehicle.

Officers were able to pull the vehicle over and contact the driver Alex Hernandez (12/22/70) who did indeed appear to be intoxicated.  Hernandez was administered Standard Field Sobriety Tests and a Blood Draw.  Hernandez was arrested. 

Inside the Tracker were seven children ranging in age from two to sixteen years of age.    The children were neither in child safety seats nor wearing any seat belts. 

Hernandez was charged with Driving While Intoxicated with Child.  The children were uninjured and released to family members.
