Occurred on 9/27/11, 01:33 a.m. Burglary of a Building 7602 Everhart 1109270010

Officers responding to an alarm at the Stripes Convenience Store arrived to find the business burglarized with a steel cable protruding from the smashed front door.

Further investigation revealed a winch cable had been wrapped around the store’s ATM machine in attempt to drag it out of the store. The two suspects were unsuccessful, but did cause $5,700 in damages to the ATM machine and front door.

The suspects were last seen wearing dark-colored hoodies. They fled in a newer model Dodge Ram pickup truck with a combination brush guard and winch attached to the front bumper. No money was missing from the ATM.
