Officer J. Ghezzi attempted to stop a black GMC pickup for a traffic violation when the driver refused to pull over.  The driver continued to drive through the neighborhood at slow speeds to the 2900 block of Westguard. 

The Officer observed the driver throw a Marijuana blunt out the window prior to stopping.  The driver Eduardo DeLeon (09/23/88) was apprehended and arrested.  A plastic baggie containing Marijuana , a quantity of pills, and a scale were found in the vehicle.

DeLeon was charged with Evading Arrest and Possession of Marijuana along with Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

A passenger in the vehicle was released at the scene.
