Robbery Victim Chases After Suspect Who Escapes in Waiting Getaway Car

Occurred on 10/25/11, 9:03 p.m.   Aggravated Robbery   Sam Rankin and Leopard St.     1110250122

Officers contacted a 49-year-old victim who reported he was robbed as he walked to the Stripes Convenience Store located at Staples and Leopard Streets.  The victim told Officers he was approached by a Black male who demanded his wallet.   The victim refused to hand over his wallet, but the suspect was able to steal the money he was holding in his hand. 

The victim attempted to pull his money back, but the suspect pulled a knife and threatened the victim.  The suspect chased after the victim as he attempted to escape.  The suspect stopped chasing the victim and fled in the opposite direction.  The victim called 911 and began to chase after the suspect who jumped into a white Chevrolet pick-up truck driven by a white female and they sped away.

The first suspect is described as a Black male, 30 to 40 years of age, 5’6″ feet tall, and weighing 160 lbs.  He was last seen wearing a dark-colored t-shirt, and khaki shorts, and a black hat.

The second suspect is described as a White female, 40 years of  age, with blonde hair.  She was last seen driving a newer model white Chevrolet pickup truck.
