An off-duty Corpus Christi Police Department Identification Technician reported a blue 1997 Pontiac Firebird traveling west bound in the east bound lane of SH 358 on the causeway approaching Laguna Shores Road.

Officers responded to the area and were able to pull over the Firebird driven by Billy Long (07/13/81) who appeared intoxicated and was oblivious that he traveling the wrong way.  He was administered Standard Field Sobriety Tests and a Breath Test.

Long was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
