Burglar Stabs Victim When Confronted

Occurred on 11/15/11, 7:30 a.m.   Aggravated Assault/Burglary of a Building 850 Stone     1111150013 

Officers responded to Martha’s Vineyard for a stabbing.  Upon their arrival, Officers contacted the 59-year-old victim who reported he heard noises coming from storage shed at 5:30 a.m.  He went out to investigate and found two men trying to steal his lawn equipment. 

Both males were wearing masks over their faces.  The victim told Officers he was attacked and stabbed by one of the males.   The suspects fled leaving the victim unconscious.  He came to a couple of hours later and called police. 

The victim was transported to Spohn Memorial for medical treatment by CCFD Emergency Personnel with stab wounds to chest and neck. 

The suspects are believed to be two males wearing Halloween masks.  No other description is available at this time.
