Occurred on 11/17/11, 05:08 a.m.   Burglary of a Business   5701 Curtis Clark     1111170015

Officers responded to Top Gun Automotive for a possible burglary in progress.  Officers were advised a witness was watching the suspects load up equipment onto a dark-colored pick-up truck.

Upon their arrival, Officers found a black Dodge pick-up backed up to the bay door and detained Aaron Nunez (08/29/91) and Michael Salinas (11/13/90) who had a load of metal in the bed of the truck.

The suspects claimed to be employees and were starting their workday a little early.  Further investigation revealed the suspects were not employees and the scrap metal had been taken from inside the business.

Both Nunez and Salinas were arrested and charged with Burglary of a Building.

The scrap metal valued at $2,000 was returned to the business.
