Having A Bad Hair Day????

Officers responded to Ebony Roots for a disturbance involving a weapon. Upon their arrival, Officers contacted salon employees who reported a Black male walked in demanding a refund for his girlfriend’s hairdo.

The owner told Officers the male was very loud-mouthed and confrontational telling her he had to take his girlfriend to the south side and shell out additional money to have the hairdo repaired. She agreed to refund the money, but the suspect refused it and left.

A female returned asking for the money, but the owner requested that the suspect return to pick it up. The suspect did return, but stopped by his vehicle and removed a firearm.  He then walked towards the salon pointing the weapon at the employees, still cursing and shouting at them. The women ran inside and secured the door.

The suspect fled in a white four-door vehicle. He is described as a Black male, 35 to 40 years of age, 5’2″ to 5’3 feet tall and weighing 320 lbs. The suspect was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.  He fled on National Drive in a white Nissan.
