Man Arrested for Indecent Exposure

Officers responded to the Paradise Bay Apartments for a male exposing himself. Upon their arrival, Officers contacted the victim who reported she was standing in the patio area of her apartment when a Hispanic male jumped over the fence and asked if he could show her something.

The male exposed himself to her and asked for a cigarette before running off. Other Officers en route to the complex located the suspect walking in the 6300 block of Weber. As Officer approached the suspect, he fled into the Dolphin’s Landing Apartments.

A witness pointed out the apartment in which the suspect had fled into. Officer’s knocked at the door, but received no response. After approximately fifteen minutes, the suspect exited his friend’s apartment.

Michael Garibay (01/11/92) was taken into custody and positively identified by the 25-year-old victim.

Garibay was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure, Assault, Evading Arrest, along with Failure to Identify as a Fugitive, when he lied to Officers about his identity. He was also charged with an outstanding Municipal Court warrant and a Nueces County warrant for Possession of Marijuana. No bond set on the Nueces County warrant.
