Officers responded to a major accident involving a 19-year-old motorcyclist who struck the guard rail and rolled several hundred feet striking a concrete retaining wall.  The driver then fell twenty feet onto the grass median.

The helmeted motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported by CCFD Emergency Personnel to Spohn Memorial. His condition was upgraded to Stable Condition.

His 2004 Suzuki Motorcycle was impounded.
