Officer S. Gonzalez pulled over a vehicle for a PT Cruiser for a traffic violation. During their conversation, Benito Rodriguez (07/10/58) denied having drugs and asked that Officer if he would like to search his vehicle. 

Officer Gonzalez took him up on the offer and found Crack Cocaine secreted away in the cup holder beneath his drink. 

Rodriguez was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Occurred on 1/31/12, 01:03 a.m.   Possession of Marijuana  jefferson Road & Saratoga Blvd.   1201310002 

Officer Vasquez clocked a silver Ford Mustang speeding as it traveled southbound on Weber Road.  The Mustang was pulled over and the driver Albert Benavidez (10/20/63) jumped out of the car and instantaneously walked  towards the Officer  in an attempt to keep him away from his vehicle. 

The Officer, not fooled by Benavidez’s cooperative nature, found a marijuana pipe in his pocket.  Benavidez was arrested.  A baggie of Marijuana was found hidden between the driver’s seat and center console when the Mustang was inventoried. 

Benavidez was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana.  He was also cited for the Speeding and Failure to Present Driver’s License.
