Trip to Cabaret Men’s Club and Broken Tail Light Lands Man in Jail

An Officer attempted to pull over a red Chevrolet Suburban for a broken tail light, but the driver continued to travel on and pulled into the Cabaret Men’s Club parking lot.  During the traffic stop, it was discovered the driver did not have a valid driver’s license or insurance.  The driver was notified his vehicle was to be impounded and an impound inventory was conducted in which a clear plastic bag containing approximately 18.03 grams of Cocaine was found. 

Adrian De Los Santos (06/24/81) was arrested and found to have $2,500 on his person.  Officers tagged both the drugs and money.  De Los Santos was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and booked at the City Detention Center.  The charge is a Second Degree Felony and is punishable up to 20 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
