Officers with the Narcotics and Vice Investigations served a search and arrest warrant at 3124 Huisache Street in which two individuals were arrested and charged with narcotics related offenses.   Inside the home Officers recovered 9.04 grams of Crack Cocaine, 19.32 grams of Marijuana, 3.80 grams of pills, and a handgun along with $2,800 in cash.

Joe Gomez (08/01/77) and Ashley Star Silva (07/09/88) were both arrested and charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana.  The Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance is a First Degree Felony and is punishable by up to 99 years in prison and a fine of $10,000.   The Possession of Marijuana is a Class “B” Misdemeanor and is punishable by 180 days in jail and a $2,000 fine.   

Silva’s infant was released to her sister-in-law and notification was made to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
