A man presented a gun and demanded cash from a woman Monday afternoon at the 1700 block of Prescott Street.

An employee was approached by a heavy-set Hispanic man who wore a gray hoodie and demanded cash. The man had a thin goatee and wore prescription glasses and showed the woman a handgun that was held in the man’s waistband. The woman complied with the man’s demand and the man left running toward Elizabeth Street. No person was injured in the robbery.

Corpus Christi Police Investigators are reviewing the video record of the event.
