Man Injured In Machete Attack

A 39-year-old man was taken to the hospital for injuries received from a strike to the head with a machete by a 46-year-old man after an altercation at the 500 block of Cheyenne Street.

A 52-year-old man stood with the 39-year-old victim for an eviction when the 46-year-old man struck the 39-year-old man with the machete. The 52-year-old man wrestled the machete away from the 46-year-old man and the 46-year-old man left the area.

The 46-year-old man and the 39-year-old victim had an argument the Monday which police believe may have prompted the attack Tuesday. The 39-year-old man was taken to the hospital for treatment for his injuries.
