Occurred Thursday, July 05, 2012, 1:58am, 6410 Weber Road, Disorderly Conduct 1207050018

A 24-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct Thursday morning at a nightclub and chose to fight with everyone she contacted all the way to jail.

Corpus Christi Police Officers arrested 25-year-old Stephanie Pena (6/6/1987) and 24-year-old Sonya Munoz (9/6/1987) for fighting in the parking lot at Macaws night club. Pena also had a Municipal Court warrant for her arrest for an unpaid ticket for expired vehicle inspection.

Munoz was loaded into the prisoner transport van to be transported to the city detention center. Patrol Officers heard screams from inside the van and discovered Munoz kicked and pushed and yelled at other prisoners in the van. Officers sprayed pepper on Munoz to stop her attacks on the other prisoners.

Munoz was placed in a patrol car to be transported to the city detention center. Munoz spit and cursed at the Patrol Officers in the patrol car while she was transported. Patrol Officers placed a spit hood over Munoz to prevent her from spitting on officers and other staff at the city detention center.

Munoz is charged with Disorderly Conduct, a Class C misdemeanor punishable by up to a $500 fine.
