Corpus Christi Police are searching for a man who stole a woman’s purse from her walker as she shopped at the Wal-Mart at the 1800 block of South Padre Island Drive.

A woman told police that she shopped the music section when she was approached by a man. The woman said she asked the man if she needed to move so that he could pass by, and the man told her she was not in the way. The woman told police that the man took the woman’s light brown purse with “oxoxo” design from her walker, and then the man ran off with the purse.

Wal-Mart staff provided police with several pictures of the suspect in this criminal case. The man is described as a black male, medium build with shoulder length hair and light beard. The man wore a gray t-shirt, khaki shorts, and white tennis shoes.
