Two teenage female residents of an apartment heard the sound of someone breaking in. They exited their apartment and called police. When officers arrived they noticed that a window screen had been removed and was lying on the ground. Officers entered the apartment to search for the intruder and located him hiding inside a closet. The suspect, Brandon Portillo 07/10/1993 was arrested. Several electronics were discovered unplugged and a television from the apartment was found outside. The victims recognized Brandon Portillo as a fellow resident of the same apartment complex. Brandon Portillo was also discovered to have two outstanding warrants, one for contempt of court, the other for non-compliance.
