Occurred on 8/11/12, 8:44 pm  Aggravated Assault  2200 N. Padre Island Drive    1208110150 

Officers responded to 2200 N. Padre Island Drive for a woman who had been assaulted by her 13-year-old son.   Upon their arrival, the 33-year-old woman told Officers her son attacked her with a hammer.  The woman was taken to Spohn Memorial with a laceration to her face, arm and hand. 

Her 13-year-old son was not at home at the time, but when Officers returned to look for evidence in the assault, they found the interior dead-bolt was engaged.  Officers found the victim’s son hiding underneath a bed inside the master bedroom.  

He was placed in police custody and booked at the Nueces County Juvenile Justice Center.  He was charged with Aggravated Assault w/Deadly Weapon~Family Violence, a 1st degree felony.
