A dispute over a cell activation turned violent Thursday night when the owner pulled a firearm and ordered them out.  Officers responded to Texas Cellular and contacted two customers who told them they had been quoted a set price by the owner Douglas Wayne Alexander (10/23/69), but were overcharged.  An altercation ensued in which several racial slurs were used by both the victim and Alexander.

Alexander asked the customers to leave, but when they refused, he drew his firearm and ordered them to leave.  The customers left and called police.

Officers arrested Alexander for an outstanding Nueces County Warrant for Assault and booked at the City Detention Center.  The investigation is still ongoing into Deadly Conduct.
