Mother-Son Team Arrested and Charged with Auto Burglary

A mother and son were both charged with auto burglary when they were positively identified by a witness who saw them burglarize a black 2012 Nissan Frontier and called police.

An Officer located Rose Marie Rosales (04/18/71) and her 16-year-old son walking westbound on Park Avenue.  Rosales’ son had blood and small shards of glass on his hand.  He was armed with a screwdriver and struggled with Officers while be arrested.

Rosales was also found to be armed with a “switch blade” knife and had several white pills in her possession.

 Rosales was arrested and charged with Burglary of a Vehicle, Prohibited Weapon~Switch Blade, and Possessioon of Dangerous Drugs.  Her son was placed in police custody and charged with Burglary of a Vehicle.  He was booked at the Nueces County Juvenile Justice Center.

Officers were able to locate the victims of the auto burglary and return their stolen property.
