Occurred on 9/26/12, 9:51 pm  Aggravated Robbery 1000 Beechcraft 1209260150

Officers responding to the 1300 block of Beechcraft found a 27-year-old man in a bloody shirt and bleeding from a cut above his eye.  The victim told Officers he was at Greenwood Drive and Tarlton Street when he was car-jacked at gunpoint.   The suspect ordered the victim to drive through the neighborhood and stop in the 1000 block of Beechcraft.  Once there, he was dragged out of his vehicle and assaulted by a second armed man.

He was able to escape when one the men dropped his pistol, allowing him to kick it away.  He ran to the 2800 block of Soledad where he called police.   The man told Officers his wallet containing several thousand dollars was taken during the robbery.   He also claimed the suspects shoved drugs in his pocket.

During their investigation, Officers were unable to find the suspects, but did find the vehicle where the victim had left it.  Officers also found two packets containing Cocaine in the backseat of the police car in which the victim had been  sitting in.  The victim was not charged with the drugs, but could face possible drug possession charges.

Police report the suspects are two Black men, one of which is bald and 25 to 30 years of age.  The victim was unable to provide additional suspect information.   Anyone with any information on this crime is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 888TIPS or submit a tip online at www.888TIPS.com.  Tipsters will earn a cash reward if the suspects are arrested.
