Officers were called to the 3500 block of Washam Drive for several vehicles which had been damaged.  A homeowner told Police he was inside his home when he heard a loud noise.  He rushed outside and observed a dark-colored Ford Ranger driving away at a high rate of speed.  The truck was occupied by three young males.

The homeowner called 911 and was able to obtain a license number for the vehicle.  Officers checked the neighborhood and found six vehicles with smashed mirrors.  Police  were able to track down the Ford Ranger and impounded it.  The investigation is still ongoing and Officers believe there might be more vehicles vandalized.  If you live in the area and have found your vehicle vandalized, please contact the Police Department at 361-886-2600 and report the vandalism with the Telephone Reporting Unit.  You can also file a report online at www.ccpolice.com.
