Occurred on 11/2/12, 09:47pm     Major Accident 5300 Saratoga       C1208383 

Police were called to a major accident involving a blue 2008 Ford Mustang a motorcycle in the 5300 block of Saratoga.  Upon their arrival, Officers found the unconscious motorcyclist seriously injured and he was quickly rushed to Spohn Memorial by CCFD Emergency Personnel.  The driver of the Mustang and two passengers, 4 and 24-years of age were uninjured in the collision.

Further investigation revealed, the 26-year-old motorcyclist was traveling eastbound in the left lane when the 20-year-old driver of the vehicle turned left from the left turn only lane onto the H.E.B. parking lot.  The motorcyclist attempted to swerve, but still collided with the Mustang.  The Mustang’s driver was cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way~Turning Left, Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility, and Expired License Plate.   The vehicle was also impounded.
