An 11 year old girl was taken by force from the 7000 block of Braesvalley Drive Thursday evening and was returned to her family about an hour and a half later.
An 11 year old girl rode her bicycle on the 7000 block of Braesvalley Drive with a 13-year-old boy who walked his dog at about 7:20pm. A red 4 door sport utility vehicle drove up to the 11-year-old girl. A man got out of the passenger side of the S.U.V. and grabbed the 11-year-old girl and then the man forced the girl into the S.U.V. The 13-year-old boy released his dog and the dog attacked the man in the S.U.V.
The S.U.V. then left the area with the 11-year-old girl. The man who got out of the passenger side of the S.U.V. is described as a white man, about 20 years old, and he wore a red letterman jacket with a white circle on the chest.
The 11-year-old girl was found by Corpus Christi Police at about 9:00pm on Padre Island. The suspects responsible for this crime were not located. The girl had no apparent injury but was immediately taken to Driscoll Children’s Hospital for an evaluation.
