Occurred on 2/6/13, 2:18pm  Wanted Subject   853 Savage Lane    1302060084

Police were called to a local convenience store to assist with retrieving belongings from a nearby apartment.  Upon their arrival, Officers were allowed into the apartment which reeked of freshly burnt marijuana.

Officers found Randall McBurnett sitting on the sofa who matched the description of a known wanted subject.  While Officers were waiting for a response on his wanted status they escorted the complainant to his vehicle.

Once they were advised by dispatchers that McBurnett was wanted they returned to the apartment where they learned McBurnett had snuck out the back door.   Officers quickly searched the area and found McBurnett at 5155 IH 37 where he was attempting to hide behind a parked vehicle.

McBurnett was arrested and charged with an outstanding Nueces County warrant.  His bond was set at $5,000.
