A 31-year-old man died in a single vehicle crash Saturday morning in Flour Bluff.

The Corpus Christi Police responded to a vehicle crash at the 9300 block of South Padre Island Drive at 2:25 in the morning on June 1, 2013. A 2002 Chevy Tahoe struck a utility pole and was on its side when Police Officers arrived.

A 31-year-old driver did not survive the crash. Two other passengers, ages 32 and 33, were taken to the hospital with what are believed to be non life threatening injuries. No other persons or vehicles were involved in the crash.

Corpus Christi Police Crash Investigators said there was no initial indication that alcohol was a factor in the crash. Crash Investigators continue to gather information about this event to determine the sequence of events.
