A 32-year-old woman walking down Cooper’s Alley failed to give the right of way to a Toyota Camry driven by a   60-year-old woman and struck the vehicle.  The young woman sustained an injury to her ankle and taken to Spohn Memorial.  The accident is still under investigation and no citations have been issued.

A 44-year-old woman was struck by a truck as she walked across the cross walk at Elgin and Guadalupe.  The woman sustained an injury to her ankle and taken to Spohn Memorial.

The driver of the truck failed to stop and render aid to the victim.  He is described as a Black male and was last seen driving a two-tone green older Chevrolet pick-up truck.  The man is known as “Black” and lives out-of-town, but often stays in the area.

Blake Edward Gregory (03/28/74) was arrested after he stopped by the Main Police Station to turn himself in.  Gregory was arrested and charged with an outstanding Nueces County Warrant.
