Corpus Christi Police are investigating an assault in which a 42-year-old man was stabbed on the 2400 block of Mary Street Sunday night.

A 26-year-old woman told Corpus Christi Police Officers a 42-year-old man she did not know laid on her back porch located at the 600 block of 22^nd Street with some obvious injuries. Police Officers found the 42-year-old man and had the man transported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.

The Police Officers followed a trail of blood to the 2400 block of Mary Street and located several witnesses to the assault.

Corpus Christi Police are now looking for at least two Hispanic men who wore white “Muscle shirts” believed to be responsible for the assault and no arrests have been made.
