Corpus Christi Police responded to a complaint of a burglary at 913 South Port Avenue where unknown suspects made entry to the store by damaging the front and back door. They took 300 bottles of assorted pills worth an estimated $30,000.

A Corpus Christi Police Officer initiated a traffic stop on a white 1995 Nissan Altima Wednesday night for an inoperable brake lamp at the 1000 block of Coleman. The driver, 66-year-old Jessie DeLaCruz (11/15/1946) was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

A Corpus Christi Police Officer initiated a traffic stop on a yellow moped at 2:30am Thursday morning after the moped went through an intersection without stopping for a stop sign. The moped did not stop for the officer for several blocks. The Officer arrested 26-year-old JoAnna Garza (12/7/1986) for Driving While Intoxicated, Evading Arrest, and for No Insurance.

A Corpus Christi Police Officer stopped to talk to a man at City Hall at 11:13pm and discovered the man had two warrants for arrest. The Officer arrested 45-year-old Arturo Gonzalez (7/6/1968) for the two warrants and delivered him to the city detention center.
