Animal Control Receives Audit by Texas Agriculture Department

A routine audit was performed on Corpus Christi Animal Care Services – Vector Control, by the Texas Department of Agriculture on August 22, 2013 at 9:30am.

The audit included an “inspection of records, land, equipment, and products associated with pesticides, including coping of records and sampling of preceding items.” – As quoted in the inspection report.

By State Law, CCACS – Vector Control is required to use certain pesticides for the removal of vector related insects. These pesticides are regulated by the Texas Department of Agriculture to ensure safety to the public.

CCACS passed the audit and inspection without problems.

CCACS works diligently with the public to handle their concerns of bees and other vector insects.
