A Corpus Christi Police Officer responded to a complaint of a disturbance at the 600 block of Elizabeth Street Thursday afternoon. The Officer arrested 47-year-old Richard Miner (5/6/1966) for public intoxication and transported him to the city detention center.

A Corpus Christi Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on the 1000 block of Acacia Drive in which a black 2001 Saturn two door car had an expired registration sticker. The Officer contacted the driver and discovered the vehicle had no insurance. The Officer then discovered evidence from a burglary of a habitation in the area. The Officer then arrested 48-year-old Karen Kusenberger (2/15/1965) and 26-year-old Peter Davis (2/10/1987). Both Kusenberger and Davis were charged with Burglary of a Habitation and for Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

A Corpus Christi Police Officer investigated a suspicious person at Nueces Street and Van Loan Avenue Thursday morning and discovered 23-year-old Timothy Harper (11/25/1989) had a warrant out of Williamson County for a probation violation. The Officer arrested Harper and then transported him to the city detention center.

A Corpus Christi Police Officer investigated two suspicious people Thursday night in a parking lot on North Beach and discovered two women smoking marijuana. The two women sat in a blue 2013 Hyundai Sonata when the Officer smelled the burned marijuana and then arrested 22-year-old Xylena Moreno (2/11/1991) and 17-year-old Stephanie Ruiz (10/19/1995) for possession of marijuana. The two women were delivered to the city detention center, the vehicle was taken to the city impound, and the marijuana was collected as evidence.

A 30-year-old woman reported to the Corpus Christi Police that some unknown person broke a back window to gain entry into her home and take about $400 dollars worth of property from inside the home. The 30-year-old woman told Officers she suspects a person she knows is responsible for the crime.

Offense: Driving While Intoxicated with Blood Alcohol Content over .15 (Penal Code Section 49.04)

A Corpus Christi Police Officer conducted a traffic stop at Staples Street and Texas Avenue for a green 2004 Chrysler Sebring that was speeding at 1:20am Friday morning. The driver, 46-year-old Roel Carrillo (10/11/1966) was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and the vehicle was impounded. The Officer discovered that Carrillo had a blood alcohol content over .15 and the charge was enhanced to a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail and up to a $4,000 dollar fine.
