A 30-year-old woman reported to Corpus Christi Police that an unknown man stole her purse at a convenience store at Kostoryz and South Padre Island Drive. The 30-year-old woman explained to Investigating Officers that she was asked for a cigarette from a man she does not know while she was at the store at about 10:13pm Monday night. The 30-year-old woman said she provided the man a cigarette and the man then followed her to her truck and then stole her purse.
The 30-year-old woman said the man left in a maroon Honda Accord. Corpus Christi Police found an unoccupied maroon 2008 Honda Accord at 12:16am on the 3700 block of South Padre Island Drive and found evidence of the theft inside the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the city impound and Police continue to search for a white male about 27 years of age, 5 foot 8 inches tall, 150 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes and has a cross tattoo on his left forearm.

A 19-year-old woman reported to Corpus Christi Police that some unknown person kicked in the front door to her home Tuesday morning and stole her television set valued at about $1,700 dollars. The 19-year-old woman said she was not home at the time of the event. Police collected evidence from the scene and are searching for the suspect in this case.
