Event: Vehicle crash with a Pedestrian

Crash Number: C1306301

A 15-year-old girl was struck by a black 1995 Dodge Ram pickup driven by a 36-year-old woman Monday morning in front of Ray High School. The 15-year-old girl was not in a crosswalk and the pickup did not travel faster than the speed limit in the active school zone. The 15-year-old girl was taken to the hospital by ambulance with non life-threatening injuries. No citations were issued. Offense: Burglary of a Vehicle

A 25-year-old man reported to Corpus Christi Police that some unknown person broke the window to his silver 2010 GMC Sierra pickup and took about $350 dollars worth of property from inside the vehicle.

Offense: Warrant of Arrest

A Corpus Christi Police Officer checked the license plate of a gray 2004 Mazda hatchback that was stopped next to the Officer at a red light at Baldwin and Morgan Avenue. The Officer discovered the vehicle was stolen from Corpus Christi and the Officer stopped the vehicle. The Officer arrested 28-year-old Isidro Ramirez (10/28/1984) for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, Evading Arrest, and for a warrant issued for Ramirez’s arrest out of New Mexico. Ramirez was delivered to the city detention center and the vehicle was taken to the city impound.
