Corpus Christi Police arrested two people Tuesday afternoon for burglary of a habitation on the 1400 block of Yorktown Boulevard after Police caught them in the act of unlawful entry into the home.
Corpus Christi Police responded to a residential alarm at 3:42pm Tuesday. The responding officer found a beige 2005 Lincoln Continental backed up to the fence with a 22-year-old woman inside the vehicle. The Officer placed the woman in the back of his patrol car while other officers arrived to investigate the alarm. The Officer then checked the back of the house and saw 36-year-old Jeremy Turner (10/12/1976) kick the back door to gain entry. The Officer went inside the home and arrested Turner for Burglary of a Habitation.
Police also arrested 22-year-old Brittany McClintock (10/21/1990) for Burglary of a Habitation for her participation with Turner. The 2005 Lincoln was impounded and during an inventory, evidence of other burglaries was discovered. Turner and McCLintock were then delivered to the city detention center on the charge of Burglary of a Habitation, a second degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine. McClintock was additionally charged with possession of marijuana when Officers discovered the contraband in her possession.
