A 58-year-old woman reported to the Corpus Christi Police Monday that an unknown man knocked her to the ground and stole her purse at a store at 4101 Highway 77. The 58-year-old woman told Officers she had injured her hand and knee from the fall and described the man as a male about 30 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 160 pounds, had sandy color hair, a goatee, and a red mark on the side of his neck.

A 26-year-old man reported a burglary to his residence to the Corpus Christi Police Monday. The 26-year-old man said he left his home at about 11:00am and when he returned at about 1:00pm, he saw the garage door to his home on the 9600 block of Wilkins Drive was open and about $1,100 dollars worth of property was missing from inside. The 26-year-old man told Officers that the garage door was left unlocked while the home was unattended.

A 69-year-old woman reported a burglary to her home to the Corpus Christi Police Monday. The 69-year-old woman told Officers she left her home on the 1200 block of Manchester Avenue on Wednesday and when she returned on Monday, she discovered a ladder on the back of her home, her window was pried open, and a television was gone.

Corpus Christi Police arrested a 19-year-old woman for possession of a controlled substance at the 1000 block of Sealane Drive. Corpus Christi Police responded to a call of indecent exposure at South Bay Park at 8:40pm in which two people were having sex in a vehicle. A Corpus Christi Police Officer found the vehicle and arrested 19-year-old Sarah Whittington (8/15/1994) for possession of marijuana, possession of alcohol by a minor, and possession of a controlled substance for what the Officer believes is heroine found in her possession. A 20-year-old man was released at the scene.

A 49-year-old woman reported to the Corpus Christi Police that she was robbed Monday night in an area of brush near the 400 block of Webb Street. The 49-year-old woman told Officers she is homeless and lives in a tent in the brush. The 49-year-old woman said she was wakened in her tent by a 52-year-old homeless man she knows. The 49-year-old woman told Officers the 52-year-old man was intoxicated and demanded her radio. The 49-year-old woman told Officers the 52-year-old man hit her several times and she left to call for help. Officers checked the dark brush but did not find the suspect.

A 47-year-old woman reported indecent exposure to the Corpus Christi Police Monday at an apartment complex located at 1001 Carmel Parkway. The 47-year-old woman told Officers she arrived at her home with her 13-year-old daughter and noticed a man standing outside exposing himself. The 47-year-old woman told Officers she confronted the man and the man ran away. The 47-year-old woman described the man to Officers as a Hispanic male about 35 years of age, 200 pounds and wore a light blue short sleeve shirt and blue jeans.

Corpus Christi Police arrested a 26-year-old man for aggravated assault after he threw a glass bottle filled with gasoline at a 21-year-old woman and a 4-year-old boy. Corpus Christi Police responded to a call of a disturbance at an apartment complex at 625 Gordon Street and arrested 26-year-old Robert Rangel (11/5/1987) for Aggravated Assault, Injury to a Child, Resisting Arrest, and Criminal Mischief. The 21-year-old woman and the 4-year-old child cleaned off the gasoline that was splashed on them and reported minor injury to the Officers. Rangel was then delivered to the city detention center.

Corpus Christi Police arrested a 27-year-old man Monday night for aggravated assault after he ran a vehicle off the road on the 600 block of Glazebrook Street. Corpus Christi Police responded to a call of a major vehicle crash at the 600 block of Glazebrook Street at 7:40pm. A 29-year-old woman told Officers that 27-year-old Lionel Torres (12/9/1985) chased her vehicle at a high rate of speed and swerved into her vehicle which caused her vehicle to strike a tree. The 29-year-old woman told Officers there were five passengers in her vehicle at the time of the crash which includes two adults and three children. A nine-year old girl sustained a laceration to her forehead as a result of the crash. The three children were all taken to the hospital by ambulance with what Officers believe are non life-threatening injuries. Torres had fled the scene but Corpus Christi Police found Torres at another location and arrested him for aggravated assault. Torres was then delivered to the city detention center.
