Corpus Christi Police responded to an aggravated assault that happened at a bar on Baldwin Boulevard Tuesday night in which a 48-year-old woman was stabbed. Witnesses told Corpus Christi Police a 54-year-old man was ejected from the bar for his level on intoxication and returned later armed with a knife. Witnesses told Officers the 54-year-old man went behind the bar and stabbed the 48-year-old bartender several times, then left the area in a black truck. The 48-year-old woman was transported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment of serious injuries. Officers reported that hospital staff provided an update that the 48-year-old woman was in serious, but stable condition.
Witnesses described the suspect as a man with medium brown color skin, 54 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 170 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes, and drove away in a black Ford F-150 pickup truck with a grill on the front. No arrests have yet been made and no other injuries or property damage was reported.
