A 31-year-old man reported a burglary to three company vehicles at 5054 Ambassador Row Thursday to the Corpus Christi Police. The 31-year-old man told Officers an unknown man who wore a white or gray sweater with a hood, blue jeans and black shoes, was seen on video at 3:58am on December 25, 2013 force entry into the vehicles and stole tools.

Corpus Christi Police responded to an assault at a bar located at 14305 South Padre Island Drive Thursday night. Witnesses told Officers a 42-year-old man was punched once by a 25-year-old man. The 25-year-old man left the bar before Officers arrived. The 42-year-old man was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 17-year-old Jacob Robertson (5/4/1996) for theft at 6101 Saratoga Boulevard Thursday. A Corpus Christi Police Officer was flagged down by a 21-year-old store employee on Saratoga Boulevard at about 2:00pm Thursday. The 21-year-old man made a shoplifting complaint to the Officer and explained that a man pushed a cart full of merchandise out of the store without paying. The 21-year-old man told the Officer he chased the man and recovered the cart full of items, but the suspect ran away. The Officer went to the nearby neighborhoods and found Robertson, who matched the description of the shoplifting suspect. The Officer detained Robertson, went back to the store, and viewed the store video surveillance system. The Officer then arrested Robertson for theft and delivered him to the city detention center.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 38-year-old Andrew Herrera (8/9/1975) for Driving While Intoxicated on the 6800 block of Everhart Road Friday morning. Officers impounded his white 1999 Ford Expedition and delivered Herrera to the city detention center.

Corpus Christi Police arrested 18-year-old Douglas Parrish (11/06/1995) Thursday at the 200 block of South Staples Street for a warrant for his arrest for failure to appear for court out of Nueces County.
A Corpus Christi Police Officer saw Parrish and a 29-year-old man appear from behind a vacant building at a little after 10pm Thursday night and investigated the two men. The Officer learned Parrish had a warrant for his arrest and then delivered Parrish to the city detention center. The 29-year-old man ran from Officers to the 1200 block of Mussett Street until he was captured by other Corpus Christi Police Officers and arrested for public intoxication. The 29-year-old man fought with Officers which resulted in one Officer injured which required medical treatment. The 29-year-old man was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries and will be delivered to the city detention center once released from the hospital.
