Corpus Christi Police responded to a complaint from neighbors and issued a citation to the manager of a nightclub located at 5922 Staples Street Friday morning. Corpus Christi Police used a meter to measure the volume of music from the club at 11:00pm and warned the manager to lower the volume. Officers returned at 12:40am after complaints from the neighbors in the area of the club and the Officers again measured the volume. The Officers issued the manager a citation for the noise violation after several attempts for voluntary compliance from the club were ignored.

Offense: Possession of Alcohol by a Minor (Alcoholic Beverage Code Section 106.05) Class C Misdemeanor

Corpus Christi Police conducted a bar check at a club located at 4653 Everhart Road and made several arrests Friday morning. Officers arrested 20-year-old Justin Rojas (2/9/1994) for Possession of Alcohol by a Minor and for public intoxication. Officers also arrested 19-year-old Brandi Simpson (5/2/1994) and 21-year-old Hannah Pedraza (8/21/1992) for public intoxication. Officers then saw a 22-year-old man urinate in the parking lot and issued that 22-year-old man a citation then released him at the scene. Officers then delivered Rojas, Simpson and Pedraza to the city detention center.

Offense: Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (Alcoholic Beverage Code Section 106.05) Class C Misdemeanor

Corpus Christi Police interrupted a party with over a dozen minors consuming alcoholic beverages at a house on the 400 block of Dixon Drive Thursday night. Corpus Christi Police responded to a Crime Stoppers tip of a party and found a group of people in the age range of 11 to 20 in the house. Corpus Christi Police Officers issued citations to eight juveniles and took them home to release them to their parents. There were one 11-year-old girl, three 15-year-old boys, one 15-year-old girl, and three 16-year-old boys. Officers effected arrests of: 18-year-old Ronnie Berlin (8/11/1995) for a warrant for his arrest for Possession of Marijuana; 17-year-old Michael Lara (5/28/1996) for consumption of alcohol by a minor; 18-year-old Markus Solis (7/4/1995) for consumption of alcohol by a minor; 17-year-old Arturo Villarreal (8/23/1996) for possession of alcohol by a minor; and 19-year-old Amando Ramon (11/7/1994) for a warrant for his arrest for Contempt of Court. A 20-year-old woman was issued a citation and released when her mother arrived at the residence having heard about the party. The adults listed by name were delivered to the city detention center.
