Corpus Christi Police arrested 38-year-old Naomi Campos (11/21/1975) for driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content over .15 on the 2600 block of Waldron Road Thursday night after her passenger poured out a beer in front of a Corpus Christi Police Officer. The Corpus Christi Police Officer was in the outside lane and Campos drove a black 1995 Chevrolet pickup in the inside lane when the 41-year-old passenger of the pickup stretched her arm out the window and poured out liquid from a beer can in front of the Officer. The Officer moved forward to view other beer cans inside the truck so he conducted a traffic stop for the open alcoholic beverage container violation. The Officer arrested Campos and impounded the truck. The 41-year-old woman was released at the scene and the Officer then delivered Campos to the city detention center.
