Officers were investigating how the generator got there when they were approached by a 32 year old male driving in the area with his brother in the passenger seat. The driver told officers that his brother came to his home and asked if he could take him to the hospital, because a generator had fallen on him and injured his foot. The driver did not believe his brother so he asked him where it happened and he told him on Panama Dr. Officers told the driver that someone had stolen the generator out of a truck and could not carry it any further and dropped it in the middle of the road. The driver then turned toward his brother and stated “take him to jail”. Officers arrested the brother Louis Rosales (08/11/1987) and took him to Spohn Memorial Hospital for treatment of the injured foot that he sustained while removing the generator from the back of another truck and then to the City Detention Center, where he was charged with theft.
