A Corpus Christi Police Officer responding to a call about neighbors arguing at 4518 Domingo Drive found a vehicle with a wanted person inside. The caller advised police that a black suburban involved in the disturbance had just left toward Greenwood Rd. Officers responding to the call observed the suspect vehicle at the intersection of Greenwood Rd. and Horne Rd. and stopped it. A male sitting in the backseat of the suburban was identified as wanted murder suspect Ronald Jackson (02/01/1970). He was taken into custody without incident. The 52 year old driver of the suburban and his female passenger were released. An arrest warrant had been issued for the suspect in connection to a homicide at 4605 Jose Street earlier in the day.

A 48 year old male victim called Corpus Christi Police after he was stabbed in the hand by his sister at their home in the 2700 block of Lawton Street. The male victim told officers that he returned home from the store and his 42 year old sister approached him in an aggressive manner accusing him of stealing her apple sauce. When the male denied taking the cans of applesauce, she got more aggressive and grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed him in the upper left arm. The female left walking away from the scene prior to police arrival and was not located. The male refused to be transported by CCFD EMS. Officers are still investigating this case, and no arrests have been made.

Two female victims called Corpus Christi Police and reported being shot at while on North Beach. A 23 year old female said that she had received a text from a friend asking her for a ride home to a condominium on Surfside Blvd. When they stopped for gas on E Causeway Blvd. they were approached by two males. The two males followed them to the parking lot of the condominium complex and when the females said they were going to leave one of the males hit their vehicle window trying to get them to stop. When they continued to drive off, one of the suspects fired a shot at the car they were in and shattered the back windshield. The girls drove back across the Harbor Bridge and called police. The suspects were described as hispanic males both about 5`08” to 5`09″ tall, medium build with one of them wearing a red tank top shirt while the other was wearing a black shirt. Corpus Christi Police Officers are still investigating this case, and no arrests have been made.
