A 33 year old male contacted Corpus Christi Police and told them that he observed a male suspect walking across the parking lot of a motel with a black and silver handgun in his hand.
The male told the suspect to go back to his room and as they began walking toward his room the man pointed the hand gun at him. The suspect then went inside, slammed the door to the room and fired a shot. The male thought he was firing the gun at him and took off running.
Officers made contact with Jose Guajardo (01/21/1990) and arrested him for aggravated assault, a second degree felony.

Corpus Christi Police Officers responded to a call for shots heard fired in the area of 4200 Avalon St. A responding officer observed a male matching the description of the suspect involved walking in a parking lot near the corner of Avalon St. and Sam St. The male suspect then jumped the fence into a back yard of a residence.
The officer was able to catch up to the suspect and at that time found him attempting to hide a sunglass case. Inside the case was a small plastic bag containing methamphetamine. Also in the man’s pants pocket the officer found a black scale with residue of narcotics on it.
Fahren Parker (02/14/1993) was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, a state jail felony, and for possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor. Officers were unable to link him to the shots being fired in the 600 block of Sam St., but did locate a shell casing in the street. No person was injured and no property was found to be damaged.

A 29 year old female victim told Corpus Christi Police that an unknown suspect had forcefully taken a bag that belonged to her while she was walking with a friend who is in a wheelchair in the 1000 block of Flour Bluff Dr.
The victim said that a short male wearing a baseball cap exited the passenger side of a 2003 Ford F250 truck and pushed her down to the ground and took the bag. The suspect jumped back in the truck and left.
While officers were investigating this call, they were notified of shots being fired from a truck that matched the description of the robbery suspects in the 1000 block of Ennis Joslin Rd. They responded there and witnesses told them that they observed a 2003 Ford F250 traveling at a high rate of speed, spin out and strike a guard rail. The truck fled that scene and continued to travel toward the area of 7100 Pharoah Dr.
Witnesses then saw the passenger in the truck stick a weapon out the window and fire at least one shot into the air. The truck then attempted to flee that scene, and as it did, it struck another vehicle that was driven by a witness.
Officers later located the suspect vehicle at McArdle St. and Nile Dr. without any occupants. The vehicle was impounded. No suspects were located.

A 35 year old female bartender called Corpus Christi Police after three men who were thrown out of a club shot the club bouncer as they left. The female told officers that the men were complaining about the cover charge they paid to get into the bar located at 5945 Williams Dr. and that they wanted their money back.
The bartender told them that there was no refunds and that they needed to leave. One of the suspects turned and punched her in the mouth with a closed fist.
After the assault, the club bouncer escorted the subjects to the parking lot and one of the suspects got a handgun from their parked Cadillac. The suspects fired three shots at the club bouncer and struck him twice in the back and once in the shoulder.
The 36 year old male was transported to Spohn MMC to be treated. The suspect that fired the shots was described as a heavy set Hispanic male, 5`10″ to 6`00″ tall, wearing blue jeans and a red shirt. No arrest have been made in this case.

A security guard working for Autonation called Corpus Christi Police after he discovered some copper had been stolen from the old Honda dealership located at 4950 State Highway 286 North Access Rd.
The security guard told officers that sometime between 10 PM on 11/8 and 9 AM on 11/9 several copper lines on the buildings air conditioner units had been stolen. The estimated value of the wire was $2000.
