Patrol Report 11/12/2014

The Corpus Christi Police Department generated 189 reports for formal criminal complaints from midnight November 11 to 7:00 a.m. on November 12, 2014. These are samples of the criminal complaints filed by the Corpus Christi Police for that time period.

 

“Charlie” District

A 27 year old female owner of a business located at 5601 S Padre Island Drive called Corpus Christi Police after one of her employees took in a counterfeit fifty dollar bill.  The female told officers she discovered the fake bill while counting cash proceeds from her business. The counterfeit bill appeared to have been altered from a five dollar bill and made to look like a fifty dollar bill.

The owner is in the process of looking at store video surveillance to see which customer passed the bill. Corpus Christi Police Financial Crimes Detectives continue to investigate this case and no arrests have been made.

A 26 year old female victim called Corpus Christi Police after her boyfriend threw a 40 inch flat screen television at her. The victim was able to deflect the television and only suffered a minor injury to the top of her nose and a small cut on her face.

The female told officers that she got into an argument with Richard Littlefield (02/09/1982) at their apartment in the 400 block of Eldon St.   The verbal disturbance turned physical when the male threw the television set at her.  The suspect was arrested for assault, a Class A misdemeanor.  The female did not require any medical attention.
