Corpus Christi Police Officers responded to a call about an unconscious female at a motel located at 11217 Interstate Highway 37 and found a 28 year old female on a bed in a room with a weak pulse and not breathing. One of the officers began chest compressions on the female and she started breathing on her own.
The male staying in the room with the female said she had taken heroin. CCFD EMS arrived and transported the female to Spohn MMC.

Corpus Christi Police responded to the 800 block of Van Cura Dr. after a female was struck by a vehicle. Officers arrived and found a 56 year old female lying in the street with severe injuries to her left leg and hip. The female was transported to Spohn MMC by CCFD EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
Witnesses at the scene told officers that they observed another female burglarizing a home in the 800 block of Van Cura. Dr. The female that was hit by the car and several other neighbors came out to confront the female that was breaking into the house. The suspect female jumped into her 2000 Buick Century and backed out into the street at a high rate of speed. The suspect struck a car and hit the victim while attempting to flee. The suspect female in her vehicle then fled towards Up River Rd.
Officers found her abandoned vehicle at 4501 Up River. Officers continued to look for the suspect female and located her at a motel in the 4300 block of Leopard St. Alicia Reyes (10/07/1989) was arrested for burglary and aggravated assault both second degree felony offenses.

A 23 year old female called Corpus Christi Police after she was assaulted by her boyfriend at their apartment in the 10700 block of Interstate 37. The female told officers that her boyfriend began looking through her phone. This led to an argument and the boyfriend threw her shoes outside. He then threw a Smart monitor against the wall and broke it. The female went into her bedroom and locked the door and attempted to call police.
When her boyfriend heard her on the phone he kicked in the door and threw the phone down breaking it into several pieces. At one point the male took a pillow and put it over the victims face and was trying to smother her. She was able to get up and get away and she ran out of the apartment.
The male fled the apartment, but responding officers found him running in the near McKenzie Rd. and the freeway. When officers went to arrest him, he physically resisted arrest and he spit on one of the officers. Officers took Joshua Jaramillo (03/25/1993) into custody, however the fight wasn’t over.
Upon arrival at the City Detention Center, the suspect was being escorted inside when he broke free and began running east through the parking lot towards Upper Broadway St. Once the suspect reached Upper Broadway St. officers caught up to him and he was taken back to the jail.
The suspect faces several charges as a result of his actions.
Assault / Third Degree Felony for assaulting his girlfriend
Criminal Mischief / Class A Misdemeanor for destroying her property
Interfering with 911 Call / Class A Misdemeanor for interrupting her to call 911
Resisting Arrest / Class A Misdemeanor for physically resisted arrest
Harassment / Third Degree Felony for spitting on the officer
Escape While Under Arrest / Third Degree Felony attempting to escape from custody

A 74 year old female called Corpus Christi Police after she heard a loud crash in front of her home located in the 6700 block of Rhonda Dr.
The female woke up and checked the house and found the wall in the front bedroom of her home had been smashed in. The female was able to look out of the cracks in the walls and she saw a white SUV speeding away. The female saw the vehicle leaving north toward the 1900 block of Spencer Dr.
The suspect vehicle was not located, but should have extensive front end damage.
