Case Number: 1411170014
Corpus Christi Police responded to State Highway 286 north at the Horne Rd. exit after a female passerby called in a man lying beside the road.

Officers found the 30 year old man with scuff marks on his jacket and road rash on his body but no life threatening injuries. He was transported by CCFD EMS to Spohn Memorial Hospital for his injuries.  The male victim was very uncooperative with investigators and it is unclear at this point if he was walking on the freeway or fell off a vehicle.

At approximately 7:05 AM officers responded back to that same area for an abandoned motorcycle found in the tall grass along the freeway. The motorcycle was found on the opposite side of the freeway from where the male was found. Corpus Christi Police Traffic Investigators are trying to determine if the motorcycle found is somehow related.
