Case Number: 1501210036
Corpus Christi Police were dispatched to the Farmers Insurance Group located at 6410 Weber Road after suspects broke into their second story business.

Officers arrived and found that suspects had forced the wooden door open causing the door frame to break. Once inside the business, suspects opened up desk drawers and cabinets ransacking the office.   A money bag from a desk drawer containing cash and checks from customers was taken from one of the desk drawers.

To get to the insurance business you have to enter through the main glass door of the commercial building.  Once inside the building a set of stairs takes you to the second level.  The door to the business is on that level and kept locked.   Officers are unsure how the suspects made entry into the commercial building to gain access to the tenants’ offices inside.

Officers are still investigating this crime, and no suspects have been arrested.

“Delta” District
Date: 1/22/2015          12:05 AM
Location: 500 Burleson Street
Offense: Burglary
P.C. 30.02            State Jail Felony

Case Number: 1501220003
Corpus Christi Police responded to an alarm at a convenience store located at 502 Burleson Street and found a smashed glass door and products strewn on the outside in an apparent getaway path.

Video surveillance from cameras inside the business show two male subjects outside the business when one of them starts kicking the door. The glass on the door is not broken enough to make entry until it is kicked several more times. The glass is then broken out completely and both subjects are seen walking away.

About 15 minutes later the two males return and make entry into the store through the bottom portion of the broken front door. Once inside they take several cases of beer and food items from the shelves. They are seen dropping items as they make their way out of the store and into the parking lot.

The owner is still trying to assess all the damage the suspect’s did to the door and inside the store. Officers are still investigating this case, and no suspects have been arrested.
