Corpus Christi Police responded to an alarm at the Prosperity Bank and found that the front doors could not be totally secured.

A bank employee arrived and decided to view camera surveillance to see if anyone had gained entry into the bank. While viewing camera footage a white male about 5`8” tall wearing dark pants, boots and a hooded sweat shirt is seen entering the bank through the front doors by pulling on them.

The suspect walks over to a teller window and jumps the counter. Once behind the counter he is able to gain entry into a safe under the counter that was left unsecured. The suspect then walks out of camera view and reappears again with a box over his right shoulder, and he exits through the door.   It is thought that the suspect exited the bank with coins in the box.

It is estimated that the suspect took approximately $600 worth of money in coins.

This case is still under investigation, and at this time no suspects have been arrested.
