A 24 year old female called Corpus Christi Police after her husband accidently stabbed himself following a disturbance between the two.
Officers arrived and found a 35 year old male in a bathtub inside the home with a stab wound to the left side of his chest. The male refused to speak to officers, however, the female told them that he had come up behind her while she was in the kitchen. The female said that her husband brought his right arm around her neck and she then saw a large kitchen knife in his hand approaching her face. She ducked as the knife came at her and it struck him in his chest instead.
After stabbing himself the male got into the bathtub. The male was transported to Spohn MMC with non-life threatening injuries and the female went to stay with other family members.
At this time no arrests have been made, however, once released from the hospital the male could face aggravated assault charges.

Corpus Christi Police responded to a report of a disturbance between witnesses and two auto burglars at an apartment complex located at 6402 Weber Road. The two suspects had fled on foot from the area by the time officers arrived, however, they were located walking between buildings of a townhome complex in the 4000 block of Killarmet Drive.
Both were identified as the suspects who had broken into two vehicles at the apartment complex on Weber Road. The male was in possession of a backpack and a tool bag and inside the backpack was a number of unidentified pills, checks, social security cards belonging to others. The tool bag was determined to have been stolen also.
The male suspect, Christopher Segura (02/03/1993), and the female suspect, Melanie Tamez (08/15/1993), were both arrested. The male was charged with burglary, fraud, possession of a controlled substance and theft. The female has only been charged with the burglary at this time.

A 45 year old female called for an ambulance and instead wound up getting a ride to jail by Corpus Christi Police.
Officers arrived at the Best Buy parking lot after CCFD EMS had to pull over and call police for assistance with a patient they were transporting to Spohn South Hospital. The firemen told the officers that they had picked up the female at the Walgreens located in the 4100 block of S. Staples St. after she said she had a seizure. She then asked them to transport her to the hospital.
While they were driving to the hospital, the female, who was in the back with a paramedic, refused to sit down and demanded that the fireman turn on the emergency lights and siren. When they explained that there was no need for the emergency equipment, the female started opening all the supply cabinets and started throwing medical supplies all over the back of the ambulance. The paramedic was hit several times with different items including packaged needles.
Officers found the back of the ambulance to be a mess of medical supplies that had been thrown all about.
Tina Barker (07/15/1969) was arrested for assault on EMS, a felony. She was additionally charged with criminal mischief and interfering with a public servant, both Class B misdemeanors.

A 54 year old male was cut by a knife on his arms after he asked a 48 year old female neighbor to see her breasts.
The two neighbors had been drinking at the females’ apartment located at 4520 Surfside Blvd. for most of the day. The male victim told officers that he did make the request of the female and that`s when she went at him with a buck knife.
The victim’s injuries were on both of his forearms and he had several small cuts to both his elbows. He was taken to Spohn Memorial Hospital by CCFD EMS to be treated for his injuries.
The female, Constance Boyd (09/25/1966), was arrested. She was charged with aggravated assault, a second degree felony.
