A Corpus Christi Police Officer on patrol was driving by a carwash located at 10638 S. Padre Island Drive when he observed two males by the coin machine in one of the washing bays.
One of the males was able to flee on foot but the officer did detain the other. Jay Charles Jackson (10/17/1993) was arrested for burglary of a coin operated machine, and was also determine to have an arrest warrant for fail to appear on an original charge of carrying a prohibited weapon.
Upon examining the property for damage, the officer discovered that the metal bracket that holds the lock on the coin machine was cut and pried. The two suspects were able to remove the lock but were not able to get into the part of the machine where the money is stored due to a second lock.
Officers are still investigating this case to try and determine the identity of the second suspect.

Corpus Christi Police responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a skateboarder in the 4500 block of Holy Road.
The investigation revealed that, Payton Sienkiewicz (03/10/1992), was driving a Chevrolet Silverado truck east on Holly Road near Flynn Parkway. A 23 year old man on a skateboard was also traveling the same direction on Holly Road. The driver of the truck told officers he saw the man, and attempted to swerve out of his path, but still struck the skateboarder who was dressed in dark clothing.
The skateboarder was transported by CCFD EMS to Spohn Memorial Hospital. He is listed in serious condition in the ICU unit.
After an investigation, officers determined that the driver of the truck was intoxicated. He was arrested for intoxication assault. He was additionally charged with resisting arrest, a Class A misdemeanor, when he physically resisted officers attempts to get a blood sample from him in the emergency room of Spohn Shoreline Hospital after a blood search warrant had been issued by a Judge.

Two females called Corpus Christi Police after another driver pointed a gun at them while they traveled down Weber Road near Saratoga Boulevard.
The 35 year old female driver told officers that she and a female passenger were in her vehicle traveling down Weber Road when a man driving a silver Dodge Ram truck cut her off on the street. He then started yelling and making obscene gestures at her.
The females turned onto Saratoga Boulevard and while traveling toward Everhart Road the man pointed a black handgun toward her car. The female slammed on the brakes to avoid getting shot. She then turned around and sped away in the opposite direction and contacted police.
Neither female was injured, nor does it appear as though the suspect fired the gun at them.
Officers continue to investigate this case, and no suspects have been identified.

Corpus Christi Police responded to the Waterford Apartments, located at 3802 Caravelle Parkway, after several people called reporting two males chasing each other in the parking lot of the complex.
Officers arrived and caught up to both of the men and were told by one of them that he was inside his apartment when two males knocked on his door. When he opened it, the two males forced themselves inside the apartment at gunpoint. The 26 year old victim said that he was then forced to lie on the floor as the two males burglarized his apartment. When the suspects left the apartment, the victim decided to chase after them.
The victim lost one of the suspects, but followed the other that was carrying a backpack. Officers found the backpack with a gun and a X Box gaming system inside. The victim claimed the X Box was his and it had been stolen by the suspect.
Officers arrested, Devin Garza (12/05/1996), for aggravated robbery. Officers continue to investigate this case to try and determine the identity of the second suspect who got away.
